Roz is a lifelong fiber artist working in weaving, felting and fiber dyeing. The work is featured as wearable art, wall hangings, Judaica and small personal adornments including clothing, scarves, hats and accessories.
Since early childhood Roz has been working with fabric, yarn and dye to create art. Her knowledge of techniques has been advanced by studying with talented fiber artists from around the world and craft schools, local workshops and conferences. These stimulating environments continue to push her work in new directions.
Roz accepts commissions for prayer shawls. She works with clients to create a unique item to be used in the celebration of a life cycle event or be given on the occasion of a marriage or significant birthday. Her work can be seen at “Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery” at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA as well as at “ArtSites the Gallery” in Rockville, MD.
