Jamie Agins

Glass

Jamie Agins has been creating hand crated art works since 1975. Starting with hand dyed and painted textiles her love of color has driven her to explore a variety of media. Since 2002 she has been working with kiln formed glass. Jamie says about her work, " My intention is to evoke an emotional response in the viewer through the interplay of light and color."

She has studied with local and nationally known glass artists including Patty Gray, Richard Lalonde, and Shirley Webster. She exhibits at local and regional arts festivals and can be seen currently at The Gaithersburg Arts Barn, Gaithersburg, Maryland and Studio 432 Gallery, Perryville, Maryland.

Jamie currently produces art glass jewelry suitable for gift giving and personal adornment as well as functional and decorative larger work.
